Stock Check Control

A major issue we have in the office is stock control, as this has not been managed / mantained in a long while.

We are still small in regards, to using materials for jobs so currently the only thing we need to manage is

co alarms.

I need someone to manage stock control to ensure materials are not going missing and are accounted for. As you can imagine if

not mantained can be very costly to the business.

Total Stock : Office stock + Engineer Stock

Processes:

*Check stock in office weekly

*Monitor how many co alarms are given to alarm to engineers from office. An update engineer count stock.

*Check if engineers recieve co alarm orders direct to there address.

*Check engineer stock weekly - I proposed this by getting stock updates weekly from engineers.

So for example if Phil said he had 10 co alarms on the 22nd Jan (Monday).

You than asked him for a stock update on the 29th Jan (following Monday). He said he had 5.

You would than need to check where the 5 alarms went.

I created a report called Co Alarm Check. This will tell you how many co alarm jobs an engineer did within a date range.

If Phil had 4 jobs with co alarms - you would than question why is 5 missing not 4.

If Phil had 6 jobs with co alarms - you would also question, as maybe he did not install and alarm at a job

If Phil had 5 jobs - this would tally up so no action required.
