• Job Count (Total Jobs)

Gas Engineers (Daily Rate)

1 - 4 jobs = £25 each

5 - 6  jobs = £130 /day (5 = £26 cert          6 = £21.66 cert)

7 - 8  jobs = £150 /day (7 = £21.42 cert     8 = £18.75 cert)

9 jobs       = £175 / day = £19.44

10 jobs     = £200 / day = £20 cert

8 - 9 jobs is the best rate for maximum profit.

PAYE Engineers (Alkan and Darren)

Contract is between 8am - 6pm. Anything over I have to pay overtime. 2 jobs in evening maximum.

  • Job count per time slot and if location placement is logical

Please allocate to another engineer if they have space or reschedule - if any of the below are true:

*the engineer has been allocated an incorrect postcode(s).

*there are more than 3 jobs per time slot and are in different postcodes or far apart

*check for diagnostics or repair works for jobs, with other jobs - does this add up to more than 3 jobs;

Optimisation Notes for Stephen

  • For gas subcontractors aim for (8 – 9 jobs) a day, minimum 6 jobs.
  • Try to ensure post codes by time slots, flow either (down or up) not (up and down)

E.g.

(Correct) – Going Down

8am – 12pm       N22, N17, EN1
12pm – 4pm       E14, E4, N22
4pm – 8pm         E17, IG2, E6

(Correct) – Going Up

8am – 12pm       E14, E17, IG
12pm – 4pm       N1, N4, N4
4pm – 8pm         N19, N5, N17

(Incorrect) – Going up and down

8am – 12pm       N22, N5, N1
12pm – 4pm       E14, E17, IG
4pm – 8pm         N19, N5, N17

  • Try to ensure all outskirt postal codes are not in an afternoon time slot, such as:
  • WD, IG, CR, TW, EN, RM
  • Unless, for example we are in the same postcode in a complete time slot, for example if we have 3 x WD in morning we can put a WD in afternoon.
  • Or if an engineer is only working to 4pm for example Adeel we can give him a RM postcode in afternoon.
  • Try to ensure postcodes in the centre of London are booked in the afternoon time slot such as: E1, EC, EV, WC, W1, N1, SE1, SW1V

Post codes that should not be in the same timeslot:

Mohammed

SL/NW
WD/NW

Phil

Anything over KT10 + (KT11, KT12, KT13…… ) should not be put with an SW

Waqar

SE is a big postal area, again we should not book SE postcodes near central London in morning and than evening. For example SE25 in morning than he goes to SE3 than back to SE25. Again we should not book DA/BR in morning than in evening. We only can book outskirt postcodes in morning and evening if engineer lives in that area.

So for example:

Adeel/Waqar/Waqas     can do IG/RM in morning and evening
Darren                                  can do TW in morning and evening
Phil                                         can do SM/CR in morning and evening
Mo                                         can do UB in morning and evening

Last thing with Darren:

He can only do NW/HA/UB/SL postcodes if not going to SW.
